The injections may feel like a slight pinch as they enter the treatment area and you may feel pressure as the gel substance is injected. The product is mixed with anesthesia which works almost immediately so you shouldn’t feel much pain. If you have a low pain tolerance or are concerned, you can ask your nurse to apply a numbing agent to the treatment area.

Immediately after the treatment, your face may appear “puffy” and this can last for 24-48 hours. Swelling afterwards is typically mild and you may experience slight bruising at the site of injections. This will resolve within 1-10 days.

You may also notice small ‘bumps’ on your skin following your treatment however this will disappear over the next few days as the product settles into place.

You will notice some effects of your skin booster immediately after your injections and will notice a distinct improvement in your skin texture within 2 weeks from your first session. Your skin will have a better colour, be less creased and be more hydrated and subtle. These results are cumulative between sessions and your complexion will look increasingly radiant and firmer.

For optimal results, we recommend a set of 3 initial treatments 3-4 weeks apart. This can then be maintained with 1-2 treatments yearly where possible and also depending on your age and skin condition upon starting the treatments.
